The Position: The Hospital's General Department has a new opportunity available for Principal House Officers and Registrars to join their dynamic team.
The hospital provides acute care services to a population of over 200,000 residents including several rural communities.
Multiple positions, working full time hours (38-43 hours per week) and 12+ month fixed-term permanent contracts available.

The Facility: The facility is a prominent regional hospital that has recently undergone an extensive redevelopment, resulting in the establishment of cutting-edge facilities. This redevelopment has introduced new patient beds, enhanced services within the rehabilitation unit, and the addition of a brand-new 24-hour emergency department, maternity unit, and special care nursery.
The hospital offers a wide range of medical services, including intensive care, coronary care, obstetrics, gynaecology, paediatrics, orthopaedic surgery, general surgery, vascular surgery, emergency medicine, pharmacy, medical imaging, pathology, and comprehensive mental health services. Additionally, the hospital provides a variety of allied health services such as physiotherapy, occupational therapy, dietetics, speech therapy, psychology, and social work.

Eligibility: 1. General, Provisional or limited registration with AHPRA or eligible to obtain
2. IMG's completing UK Foundation Programme
3. IMG's that have completed at least the AMC MCQ (part 1) or completed both AMC 1 & 2 (clinical exam)
4. IMG's eligible via the Competent Authority Pathway (training in the UK, USA, NZ, Canada or Ireland)
5. IMG's assessed by RACP College as partially or substantially comparable (doctors currently interviewing with RACP may express their interest)
6. IMG's interested in foreign training via the Short Term training specialist pathway (STT)
7. Have experience working as a General Medicine Registrar
