Position Title: Senior Procurement Officer
Location: Cairns
Remuneration: $105,568 - $114,861 per annum
Responsibilities: Manage a variety of concurrent procurement projects (and other business-related projects) by exercising a high degree of judgement to meet operational and/or business deadlines.
Prepare correspondence, reports, and memoranda relating to Procurement and Contracts Unit matters as directed, consulting and liaising with staff, clients, suppliers, and external agencies as required in a confidential manner using conflict resolution skills when necessary.
Plan, run, and manage medium to high value/complexity end-to-end procurement processes including procurement planning, market analysis, professional preparation of relevant documents, sourcing and receiving offers, evaluations, negotiations, approvals, and contract awards.
Review, support, and advise on business unit-led low to medium value/complexity and contracted high value/complexity procurement processes, including the development of Order Forms and providing internal probity advice.
Contribute towards the development of procurement policies, systems, and procedures and assist with implementation and management.
