We are currently on the lookout for an individual who can help us expand our local, intrastate, and interstate charter business. The position is a fixed-term contract that will initially last for three (3) months, with a possibility of extension. The job is located at our Mildura Depot and is part-time, requiring two (2) days of work per week on Monday and Thursday. The working hours are 7.6 hours per day. Please note that the successful applicant will be required to work an additional day for training purposes, after which they will go back to their regular schedule of two days per week once they have been deemed competent.Major ResponsibilitiesThe responsibilities for this role include managing all charter bookings, addressing day-to-day customer inquiries, and ensuring seamless coordination of the charter process to provide an exceptional customer experience. Additionally, the candidate should aim to expand the charter business by cultivating strong customer relationships and exploring new opportunities through our network. They should also support CDC's community engagement initiatives to aid our customers and the wider community.Specific ResponsibilitiesCustomer Service and Charter Services Engagement.Being first point of contact and respond to varied requests for charter information, queries and services, in line with the established policies and procedures of the company. Respond in a timely manner to charter queries in relation to quotes, bookings, including providing accurate and timely information. Provide accurate advice and prices to customers / clients to enable them to meet their needs and make informed decisions.Support and assist the Manager, Customer Experience and Charter to develop and implement initiatives to grow our charter business.Visit customers to gain feedback on the company's performance.Assist and support in the execution of community engagement initiatives to support charter customers and our communities.Key QualitiesPrevious experience in a face-to-face customer service and/or administrative position.The ability to work cooperatively with people from a range of diverse backgrounds and interests.Demonstrated initiative, reliability and confidence in dealing with evolving work priorities.Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.Customer focused mindset with the ability to understand and respond to customer needs.Well-developed computer literacy including proficiency in using Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Ability to build rapport with current and new customers.A valid Victorian drivers' license is essential for this position.About Us:As one of the largest private bus operators across metropolitan Melbourne and regional Victoria, CDC Victoria is in the business of "Linking People, Places and Communities".With a fleet of 500 buses and coaches, we employ over 1000 staff from 80 diverse nations, and operate out of 8 depots – in Ballarat, Geelong, Mildura and Broken Hill, Oakleigh, Sunshine, Tullamarine, and Wyndham, which incorporates our Head Office.We serve the community by providing essential public transport and offering reliable charter services to schools, sporting groups and other recreational groups within Victoria.If you are looking for a new challenge in our exciting and growing industry, please submit your Resume and Cover Letter by following the link below.CDC is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to attracting and developing a diverse workforce which reflects the community we serve.
