About the role An exciting opportunity has arrived for an experienced Full-Time Assistant Manager to join our amazing team at Charlestown Caring Group (CCG). This position is an excellent opportunity to build your knowledge in the NDIS and Aged Care sectors while supporting a motivated team.
This position will work closely with the Hunter – Regional Manager and regularly interact with and support staff, volunteers, site visitors, and brokerage providers, and will also be responsible for:
Overseeing the day-to-day operations at the CCG siteSmooth rostering and delivery of client servicesMonitoring and responding to client feedback and incidentsMaintaining a safe working environment and escalating issues and concerns in line with ADSSI policies and proceduresIdentifying and rolling out process efficiencies and quality initiatives relevant to scope of roleMaintaining and coordinating relevant site repairs and maintenance and coordinating site utilisation and workspaceWorking closely with the Hunter – Regional Manager to deliver growth across all programsIn addition to the above, this role will also have significant involvement in assisting and supporting strategic integration of activities across Hunter sites and ADSSI more broadly, contributing to ADSSI's change agenda in response to industry reform and quality improvements to meet program and industry standards.
About you Candidates must have a Diploma in Management or Other relevant tertiary qualifications with experience in a similar role.

Demonstrated experience in leading a work group and providing support and mentoring to staff to deliver high-quality servicesAbility to apply project management methodology, appropriate to the role along with effective critical thinking techniques, to set priorities and meet deadlines while maintaining high levels of confidentialityDemonstrated experience in process design and leading change implementationUnderstanding of relevant disability, aged, and community care sector legislation, standards, and guidelinesPrevious experience working with people who live with disability and older peopleCurrent NSW Driver LicenceA strong work ethic, integrity, and stakeholder focusPlease note that the successful candidate must provide a NDIS Worker Check and Working with Children Check.
