If so, we want you to join our team as our next Accounts Payable Officer! Charles Hull Contracting is currently seeking applications for an experienced, highly organised, and efficient Accounts Payable Office to permanently join our team at our Waroona Head Office.
Reporting to the Finance and Administration Manager your responsibilities will include: Perform day to day financial transactions Entry of invoices into the ERP system including matching purchase orders to supplier invoice and obtaining relevant approvals, where required Processing of employee expense claims and credit card expenses Co-ordination and preparation weekly/monthly supplier payment runs Maintaining the accuracy of supplier records in the ERP system Monitoring and actioning the Accounts Payable email inbox Reconciliation of supplier statements and liaison with suppliers Working with the accounting team to identify accruals at month end Communication with sites to foll up exceptions/outstanding queries Reconciles processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances Charges expenses to accounts and cost centre's by analysing invoices/expense reports Process payments to vendors Verify and process reimbursements for employees Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues Correspond with vendors and respond to enquiries Maintain accurate records Manage end of month closing About you: Current WAdrivers license 3+ years' experience proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounts payable Certificate III in Accounts Administration Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping (desirable ) Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Attention to detail and accurate data entry skills Must have the ability to pass a pre-employment medical & drug and alcohol screening Proficient with Microsoft Office Suites Proficient in AP automation systems, preferably RedMap Experience with Pronto ERP system (advantageous) A friendly and pro-active approach Excellent phone manner Highly organised Why You'll Love Working With Us: Career Growth : CHC offers opportunities for professional development and advancement within the civil construction and mining industry.
