Based in Sydney or Melbourne, we are seeking a highly motivated and energetic Channel Partner Manager to join our team. The main goal of this role is to enable our partners to attract new customers and continue the growth of existing partners while securing our current customer base. You will work closely with partners, the Partner Manager, the Director of Channel Partners, and the Solutions Consultant to achieve comprehensive sales results and expand partner reach.
The day to dayLead and shape the sales strategy for partners, targeting the most valuable customers across the country.Develop and execute sales strategies to drive partner performance and achieve sales targets.Build and maintain strong relationships with partners, serving as the primary point of contact for sales-related inquiries and support.Collaborate with partners on lead generation and channel acquisition strategies to drive acquisition.Provide thought leadership in delivering a superior customer experience for large fleet customers.Achieve/exceed all set targets in all lines of business.Conduct regular business reviews with partners to assess performance, address challenges, and find opportunities for improvement.Why you are our next Channel Partner ManagerExtensive relationship/strategic sales experience within the Telecommunications and/or IT sectors.Proven experience delivering upon agreed sales targets in both acquisition of Mid-market customers (50-500 people).Capability to develop and implement a sales plan to uphold a well-rounded and balanced pipeline.Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align with overall business objectives.History of achieving/exceeding AOP targets and maintaining accuracy of prospect data in CRM systems.Strong presentation skills, both written and verbal, to internal and external senior executives.What's in it for you?3 days in the office, 2 days remote – with flexible hours to suit!Inclusive paid parental leave, up to 14 weeks for the primary caregiver.All Optus employees have access to resources, webinars and support via the 'Parents at Work portal'.Own your own growth by accessing an extensive online and facilitator-led learning catalogue – even earn an MBA micro-credential via OptusU (University).Connect at work through one of our employee-led volunteer groups: Culture Connect, Elevate Women, Disability Network, Express Yourself (LGBTQIA+), United Veterans and Yarn Network.Vibrant campus life, variety of facilities including restaurants, cafes, gymnasium, GP, and post office.Free Optus bus from Macquarie University Metro Station (every 6-8 minutes); morning and afternoon!Keen to see what it's really like to work at Optus?
