The HSE Business Partner will play a pivotal role in driving health, safety, and environmental (HSE) initiatives across the company.
The role will focus on providing strategic HSE support to business leaders, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and implementing a proactive approach to workplace safety and sustainability.
The HSE Business Partner will work closely with management and employees to foster a culture of safety, environmental responsibility, and continuous improvement in HSE practices.

Key Responsibilities:
Strategic HSE Support: Provide expert advice and guidance to senior management and operational teams on HSE policies, processes, and best practices, aligned with company goals and industry regulations.
Risk Management & Compliance: Monitor and ensure compliance with all relevant local, state, and federal health, safety, and environmental laws.
Lead risk assessments, audits, and inspections to identify hazards and implement corrective actions.
Safety Culture Development: Champion a strong safety culture by developing and executing programs that promote awareness, safe practices, and behaviour-based safety initiatives across all levels of the business.
Training & Development: Identify HSE training needs, develop training programs, and deliver training sessions to ensure employees are equipped to work safely and in compliance with regulations.
Incident Management: Oversee the investigation of workplace incidents and near misses, ensuring root cause analysis is performed, corrective actions are implemented, and trends are monitored to prevent recurrence.
Reporting & Data Analysis: Prepare regular HSE performance reports for management, including key metrics on safety incidents, audits, and environmental impact.
Use data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Sustainability Initiatives: Promote and support sustainable practices, including waste reduction, energy efficiency, and environmental stewardship, ensuring alignment with corporate sustainability goals.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with HR, Operations, Legal, and other departments to integrate HSE into daily operations, ensuring the alignment of safety practices with broader business objectives.
HSE Strategy & Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with senior leadership to define HSE strategy and goals.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives, setting measurable objectives and reviewing progress against targets.
Required Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety, Environmental Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Certifications: Additional certifications in Environmental Management (e.g., ISO 14001) are a plus.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years' experience in HSE management, with at least 2 years in a business partnering role within an operational environment.
Knowledge: Strong understanding of HSE regulations, industry standards, and best practices.
Knowledge of risk management and incident investigation techniques.
Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to drive change.
Ability to deliver HSE training and facilitate workshops.
Proficient in MS Office Suite and HSE reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, HSE management software).
