Position Overview: As a result of our client's remarkable growth in Australia, we are currently seeking an accomplished Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead a team of 12 finance professionals spanning across 4 different countries. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in the financial management and strategic decision-making processes, contributing significantly to the continued success and expansion of the company. This role offers the flexibility to be based in any state in Australia. However, candidates must be willing to travel to different offices as required. Key Responsibilities: Financial Leadership: Provide strategic financial guidance, overseeing all aspects of financial management, budgeting, and forecasting to support the company's growth objectives. Team Management: Effectively lead and manage a team of 12 finance professionals across diverse locations, fostering collaboration and ensuring alignment with organisational goals. Global Financial Oversight: Take charge of financial operations in multiple countries, ensuring compliance with local regulations and optimising financial processes for efficiency. Strategic Decision-Making: Collaborate with senior leadership, managing director to contribute insights and financial expertise in strategic decision-making processes, driving the company's overall success. Risk Management: Implement robust risk management strategies, identifying and mitigating financial risks to safeguard the company's financial health. Reporting and Analysis: Develop and present comprehensive financial reports, conducting analysis to provide actionable insights for informed decision-making. Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement within the finance function, implementing best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Compliance: Ensure adherence to financial regulations and standards, overseeing the preparation and submission of accurate and timely financial statements. Stakeholder Communication: Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, communicating financial insights and fostering a transparent and collaborative financial environment. Technology Integration: Explore and implement technological solutions to streamline financial processes and enhance the overall effectiveness of the finance function. Requirement: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field. A Master's degree or CPA/CA qualification is a must. Australian PR or Citizen only. This role requires frequent travel between PNG, Philippines, China and Australia to support the teams in the local market. Minimum of 8 years of Australia local progressive experience in finance and accounting roles, with at least 3 years in a manager or leadership position such as Finance Manager, FC or Director of Finance. Demonstrated experience managing financial operations in a global context, navigating diverse regulatory environments and cultural considerations. Proven ability to lead and inspire a diverse team, with a track record of effective team management and fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture. Strong strategic and analytical mindset, with the ability to contribute to the overall business strategy and make informed financial decisions. Fluent in both Chinese and English, with exceptional communication skills in both written and spoken forms. The ability to seamlessly navigate and articulate financial concepts in both languages is essential for effective collaboration within our client's diverse, multinational team.
