Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) 6103 Med/Surg - Nights (FT)Reporting to the Unit Manager, the Certified Nursing Assistant assists the licensed nurses in contributing to the delivery of quality nursing care by engaging in nursing care and activities of daily living within the scope of practice defined by the Texas Department of Health. The Certified Nursing Assistant is assigned to specific or groups of specific patients and unit-based tasks which contribute to the nursing process; facilitates the gathering and documentation of specific data; and augments collaboration with and delivery of quality care with licensed health care team members.
