Job Description Are you interested in learning a Construction Trade? Australian Training Works Group (ATW) are now seeking Expressions of Interest for construction trainees. The traineeship provides paid, on-the-job training and the successful trainees will receive a Certificate II in Indigenous Housing Repairs and Maintenance.
This course will provide participants with a range of knowledge, skills and competencies to conduct repairs and maintenance of housing structures for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Communities.
Some of the duties will include:
Brick and blocklaying Work safely at heights Remove and replace doors & windows Install and repair fences & gates Measure and calculate Use construction tools & equipment Prepare and paint surfaces Work safely in construction Erect and dismantle formwork Candidates must have the following: White Card Identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Interest in construction work Apply now or contact us on or for more information.
