Cert IV Accounts - Administration TraineeshipJoin Camden Council and complete a Certificate IV Accounts Administration over 24 months, blending formal training with a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) and hands-on, practical experience. Plus, you can gain qualifications and experience without accumulating study debt.What You'll Be Doing During Your Traineeship:Processing supplier and utility invoices according to Council policies and payment terms.Creating new accounts in the Council's Financial System Authority.Reconciling suppliers' statements of accounts.Getting to know the Purchase to Payment process, including purchase orders, invoices, and goods received.Raising requisitions for stationery orders and making sure they get distributed across the Administration building.Handling both internal and external inquiries.Taking on any other Account Payable duties as needed.Who We're Looking For:Are eager to learn, committed to both on-the-job and formal training, and open to feedback.Can work effectively in a team and contribute to shared goals.Possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal.Have basic computer skills, with some knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) being a plus.Have an interest in Maths or enjoy working with numbers.Bring a positive attitude and a willingness to learn—no prior office experience is required.Pre-Employment Requirements:Shortlisted candidates may need to complete a National Criminal Police Check, a Working with Children Check, and a pre-employment medical screening, which includes a drug and alcohol test.
