As the local Board Member/Director, the CEO will be responsible for overseeing our MiCA application process, ensuring compliance with AML/CFT controls and driving business development. This role requires a deep understanding of the cryptocurrency industry, strong leadership capabilities, and a passion for innovation and growth.Requirements:Serve as the EU CEO of the crypto exchange and the local Board Member/DirectorLead our MiCA application process from end to end to obtain the license in LithuaniaOversee the accuracy and effectiveness of AML/CFT controlsPlan and implement audits for staff performanceServe as the first point of contact between the company and governmental agencies/authorities as neededConduct business development and attend events on behalf of the company as neededHire and work with the product/tech team to ensure the exchange provides a great user experienceManage trade operations and other operations that support the growth and development of the businessLead the team in expanding to new markets by managing end-to-end compliance-related processes, such as bank partnershipsManage and participate in ad-hoc projects and special tasks as appointed by the global CEO or the investors/shareholders of the exchangeQualifications:Proven experience as a CEO or in other senior executive leadership roles within the financial services or cryptocurrency industryDeep understanding of the cryptocurrency market, blockchain technology and related regulatory environmentsStrong strategic thinking, business acumen and decision-making skills.Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse teamExcellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to various stakeholdersDemonstrated ability to drive innovation, manage change, and achieve results in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentStrong network within the cryptocurrency and financial services industriesBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferredExcellent written and verbal language skills in English.
