The Director will play an integral part in building the centre's educational team and establishing the service as a leading provider of early childhood education and care in the Muswellbrook community.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Director to showcase their expertise in the Early Childhood profession.
The successful applicant will play a key role in the success of our Muswellbrook Centre and will be able to collaborate with the St Nicholas leadership team.
They will also possess the initiative, maturity, and leadership skills required to build a team and service in a growing community.
This role is being offered on a permanent full-time basis, located at our Muswellbrook Service.
EXPERIENCE/CRITERIA Minimum 3 years' experience in same roleProven ability in all areas of administrative procedure, curriculum development, parent and community liaison, staff professional development and trainingUnderstanding and working knowledge of WHS legislationDemonstrated knowledge of services requirements of the CCSS (childcare subsidy system) and ability to perform software application for compliance.Be willing to accept the role of Nominated Supervisor under the Children (Education and Care Services National Law Application) Bill 2010 and Education and Care Services National RegulationsDemonstrated ability to successfully support the Early Learning Years Framework with the centre curriculumPrevious experience in successfully managing a budget for an Early Education CentreQUALIFICATIONS Diploma in Children's Services or Degree in Early Childhood Teaching as identified by Australian Children's Education and Care AuthorityCurrent First Aid Certificate, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management trainingWorking with Children Check verification numberDEC approved child protection training certificateIf you genuinely share our passion for Early Childhood Education we would love to hear from you!
