Role: Centre Cook
Centre: Goodstart Deniliquin
Employment Type: Part time 15 hours or Casual - Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday
Our skilled Centre Cooks are greeted each day by little customers who couldn't be more excited to see them. They're organised and creative, planning nutritious meals and snacks to meet each child's dietary needs. Embedded within a supportive and friendly team, our Centre Cooks are committed to working together for the benefit of children.
In this role, you will:
• Support the health and wellbeing of children through planning and preparing nutritious food
• Ensure the safety of children by preparing meals to account for special dietary requirements and allergies
• Use your creativity and organisational skills to plan the menu and order food supplies in consultation with the Centre Director
• Maintain high standards of food safety by ensuring all storage, handling and preparation of food and drinks is hygienic
• With your creative meal planning and thorough understanding of nutritional needs, you'll build a career to be proud of in a place that positively impacts children every day

You'll need:
• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or experience cooking within a childcare setting
• Current NSW Working with Children Check
