Details of the offer

Primary Purpose: Managerial role responsible for corporate accounting function for the organisation.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage the financial accounts of the organisation and control the cost accounting and management accounting functions. Direct the financial and accounting functions of the organisation and submit reports reflecting earnings, profits, cash balances and financial results to management. Monitor business performance and create insights leveraging the organisations business intelligence tools and systems (Power BI, Cognos BI and TM1). Accountable for maintaining taxation compliance. Participate in the development of accounting policies and administer approved accounting procedures. Prepare financial and operating statements, including subsidiaries and departments. Manage internal audit programs and liaise with external auditors on significant matters. Maintain general ledgers and chart of accounts utilising the organisation's Pronto ERP system. Observe all work, health and safety, environmental and quality programs, policies and procedures developed to meet the intent of the WHS, Environmental and Quality policies. General Duties and Responsibilities:
Any other task as required from time to time by CSD. Essential Requirements:
Ability to work as part of a team as well as act on own initiative, work unsupervised, effectively prioritise workload and problem solve. Ability to work under pressure with a significant degree of initiative and autonomy. A strong safety focus and concern for the health and wellbeing of yourself and your work colleagues. Strong verbal and written communication skills and competent in the use of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, internet and email. Maintaining currency in fields of operation and undertaking required training. Following all Standard Operating Procedures, Safe Work Method Statements, Work Task Procedures and the CSD Employee Code of Conduct. Emotionally intelligent and confident to liaise with all stakeholders. Demonstrate attention to detail and organisational skills. Demonstrate understanding of HSE procedures and systems. Demonstrate the application of continuous improvement processes. The physical capabilities and mental aptitude to undertake the inherent tasks of the role. Qualifications:
Tertiary qualification in Accounting (CPA or CA accreditation essential) 5+ years experience. #J-18808-Ljbffr
