Due to an internal promotion, a fantastic opportunity has opened for a hands-on Cellar Manager to join a tight knit Cellar team. Reporting into the Food & Beverage Manager, you will lead a small team, as well as oversee the efficient operation of our cellar and all stock control.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Supervise and lead a small team; provide effective feedback, training, leadership, support, and growth opportunities to Cellar team members.
Overseeing stock levels and replenishment of all outlets to ensure optimum levels.
Collaborating with departments and venue managers to plan inventory.
Proactively maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable working environment for employees in the Cellar, in accordance with WHS standards and club policies.
Carry out Cellar operations tasks, accepting and checking deliveries, changing kegs, beer line cleaning, restocking bars.
Implement and improve warehouse processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Assist Stock Controller with ad-hoc duties when required.
Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks.
About you:
Experience in a similar leadership role in Cellar Operations/ Logistics/ Warehousing / Head Storemen.
Strong leadership skills and the ability to lead a small, tight knit team.
Knowledge of inventory control procedures and WHS standards.
Hospitality industry experience (desirable).
Ability to work a 7-day rotating roster including weekend work.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
RSA & RCG.
Forklift Licence.
