Position: Administrative Assistant (Administration & Office Support)
We are seeking a talented part-time Administration Assistant to join our Queensland team based in Rockhampton. This is a position in a business that continues to grow within Queensland.
Role Purpose: Reporting to the Regional Manager Central Queensland, the purpose of the Administration Assistant is to provide a range of administrative functions that ensures school bus travel is maintained according to company procedures and regulations under the Transport Operations Act.
Hours: This is a part-time role of 20 hours per week.
Qualifications:
Any qualifications from a transport and/or administrative perspective would be an advantage. Experience:
Excellent system skills, in particular Excel, Word, and Outlook. Experience working in a fast-paced, changing environment. Experience in operational service roles. Skills:
High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team. Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills. General Responsibilities: (but not limited to)
Front of house duties including answering phones and over-the-counter inquiries. Cash counting. Undertake other duties as required by management to ensure the successful operation of CDC Queensland. Processing Bus Travel Assistance applications. Issuing Bus Pass Cards. Provide prompt and accurate responses to all school transport queries including written, telephone, and face-to-face. Utilise problem-solving skills to deal with customer inquiries and complaints. Cross-training with other administrative positions within the Rockhampton region.
