About You This role is ideal for a highly motivated and results-oriented professional with: Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation
Agency (AHPRA)  Relevant tertiary qualifications in health management or working towards same and/or equivalent
experience in nurse management as deemed appropriate by CCLHD Current Drivers license  You have proven experience at a senior operational management level in a complex clinical service providing high quality care to consumers in a culturally responsive way demonstrated ability to coach, lead, to achieve
effective service delivery. Where You'll Be Working The Operational Nurse Manager, reporting to the General Manager, oversees the management and leadership of Nurse Unit Managers (NUMs), Nurse Managers (NMs), Clinical Nurse Consultants (CNCs), Clinical Nurse Specialists (CNSs), and Clinical Nurse Educators (CNEs) within Critical Care services at Gosford. Additionally, the role includes oversight of CNCs with District-wide responsibilities. Responsibilities encompass ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality patient care and addressing clinical and operational challenges as they arise.
The role actively collaborates with all clinical professional staff groups and spearheads the adoption of inter-professional collaboration aimed at patient-centered care. Accountability extends to enhancing patient outcomes, ensuring sustainable access to care, and developing cooperative health pathways through strategic networking across the District.
