We are seeking a passionate and skilled professional to join our Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) team. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, providing assertive outreach and intensive case management to children and young people aged 0-17 years experiencing acute mental health distress.
Key Responsibilities: Provide expert clinical services to children, young people, and their families/carers, helping to resolve mental health crises.Deliver evidence-based, recovery-focused individual therapy tailored to the needs of young people.Involve families and carers in assessments, care plans, and reviews to ensure holistic and comprehensive support.Collaborate with a wide range of professionals and agencies, participating in case conferences and team meetings to ensure the best care outcomes.Offer consultation and guidance to colleagues and external partners, supporting the management and care of young people in need.This position is graded for the following: Occupational Therapist Level 3Clinical PsychologistClinical Nurse Specialist Grade 2Clinical Midwife Specialist Grade 2Welfare Officer Level 3Counsellor Level 3An Eligibility List (E-List) or talent pool may be created from this recruitment episode to assist in filling future permanent, temporary, or casual full-time and part-time positions. About You You have an unrestricted Australian Drivers Licence.You have postgraduate experience working within a Child and Adolescent Mental Health service or Mental Health Service.You meet the Essential Criteria with qualifications and APHRA registration if required.You will need to be available to work midday to 8:30 am Monday to Friday and 09:30-06:00 pm on a Saturday to Sunday.
