Cbs Business Development Manager

Custom Built Stainless (CBS) is a leading manufacturer of Stainless Steel components for the Irrigation Industry nationally, and we are looking for a dedicated Business Development Manager to join our experienced and expanding Stainless Steel Fabrication Team.

The Business Development Manager (BDM) is responsible for growing the customer base and profitability by building and maintaining strong and mutually beneficial relationships with new and existing customers based on products and services that we can provide.

The four key areas of this position are:

Engage & Service New Customers

Support and grow Existing Customers

Sales Generation

Administration/Inventory

The following skills and experience will be looked upon favourably:

Min 5 years' experience in sales and key account management in the Water Solutions/irrigation or similar manufacturing industry

Excellent organisational and time management skills

Basic computer skills, and experience with POS (Pronto), CRM software and the Microsoft Office Suite

Strong negotiation skills, with ability follow-through on client agreements

Ability to multitask and manage more than one client account

Excellent interpersonal relationship skills

A current driver's License
