A thrilling opportunity is available for a Road Train Driver to join our client's team in the Kimberley region of Western Australia. Located near Fitzroy Crossing, this cattle station spans over half a million acres in the stunning Western Kimberley Region, featuring a comprehensive beef cattle breeding program. This program utilizes helicopters, horses, motorbikes, heavy machinery, and a substantial station crew. Our client takes pride in fostering a sense of teamwork and community, ensuring that each team member is appreciated and plays a vital role in the efficient operation of the station.The Role:The successful Road Train Driver will experience a diverse role, alternating between transporting cattle and operating heavy machinery at the station as needed. The transportation of cattle includes both internal paddock carting and delivery to various external stations and feedlots. Additionally, the role requires operating heavy earthmoving equipment, including graders, loaders, telehandlers, and tractors.Essential Criteria:To hold a current, unrestricted MC (Multi Combination) Licence and be willing to provide a copy upon request.To have previous experience transporting livestock safely and by adopting a high level of animal welfare consciousness.To be capable of operating various station earthmoving equipment and have the ability to carry out basic maintenance as required.To possess previous generalised cattle station experience & experience working cattle in a low stress manner.To maintain records and communicate effectively within the workplace.To hold a strong commitment to safe work practices, a strong work ethic and a genuine passion for agriculture and station life in general.Benefits:To become part of a team that fosters a positive work culture where everyone feels respected and valued adopting collaboration, mutual support and a strong sense of community.To enjoy a comfortable living space and enjoy delicious, nourishing home cooked meals prepared by the station cook.An attractive remuneration package as a full-time employee of the company.
