This position holds a substantive Permanent Teaching Position with the Diocese of Cairns.
Employment Type: Full Time - Fixed Term Salary Range: Commensurate with experience - Graduate $84,077 - Proficient 4 $104,841 FTE Gross per annum, plus applicable Middle Leader Tier 2 C allowance $15,799 p.a.
OR Proficient 5 and above: $136,892 FTE Gross per annum.

A substantive teaching position is attached to this role.
The role of Pastoral Leader is to support the mission of the College through leadership founded on a commitment to the provision of quality education for the students.
This involves: Developing and implementing effective pastoral practices which provide for students' wellbeing.
Ensuring that appropriate programs and processes are developed and followed at all levels to encourage students to embrace a way of living based on Gospel values and managing student behaviours which are contrary to this.
Coordinating the efforts of staff in students' holistic growth.
Developing partnerships with parents and carers.
Developing other appropriate partnerships within and outside of the school.
Middle Leaders are accountable to and under the direction of the College Principal.
