We are seeking casual Catering Assistants to join our team.
Catering Assistants – Casual School Term Time Hours (not in school holiday weeks) St Hilda's School is seeking to appoint hospitality professionals to join our Catering Services Team.
Previous hospitality experience is essential as this role services our Boarding House Dining Room and Events/Functions.
Shift times available are early mornings (from 6.00am) and evening shifts conclude latest 8.30pm.
Weekends and split shifts are also available with penalty rates applicable.
General duties include food handling, food service, food set-up and cleaning duties.
Applicants for the above position must have a strong commitment to safe working practices and be able to function as part of a team.
Qualifications & Requirements Previous experience in hospitality servicesAbility to be flexible and own transportCurrent Drivers Licence and advantage but not essential – golf buggy driving may be required for those team members who have a licence.Current Paid Blue Card (or willing to obtain prior to commencement)Food Handling Certification an advantage but not essentialCurrent RSA an advantage but not essentialAs a member of the St Hilda's Community, you must be willing to continue to support the Code of Conduct and the stated values and Anglican Ethos of the School and have your name submitted to the Anglican Church's Professional Standards Register.
