The Lodge has 41 private rooms in the residential aged care section and 29 independent living units and is proudly community owned and run.About the RoleWe are currently seeking a friendly and energetic catering assistant to join our team.
Your role will be to assist our chefs/cooks to prepare and deliver meals and to maintain residents' dietary satisfaction.
On-the-job training will be provided.
The successful applicant will:Have sound communication skills and be available to work a variety of shifts which may include weekends and public holidays.Be reliable, motivated, and passionate about caring for older people.Be capable of following safe work procedures and contributing to a safe environment for all.Hold a Food Safety Handling Certificate or be willing to obtain it.We will support you with training and leadership so that we deliver the best levels of service to residents, visitors, and staff.Applications Close: Sunday, 19th January 2025.Your application will include the following questions:Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia?How many years' experience do you have as a catering assistant?
