The Role:
We are seeking a dedicated Catering Assistant to join our team, where you'll play an important part in providing high-quality meals for our residents. You will be responsible for food preparation, kitchen cleanliness, and maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and food safety. This role also involves working collaboratively with our broader team to ensure excellent service delivery.
Key Responsibilities: Customer Experience:
Deliver a 10/10 customer service and drive customer-centred experiences. Help increase positive recommendations of our services by residents.Food Preparation and Distribution:
Follow strict HACCP and food safety standards to prepare meals for residents. Liaise with Registered Nurses (RN) and Hotel Services Coordination regarding daily operations and menus. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and equipment.Documentation:
Ensure all Food Safety/HACCP requirements and WH&S audit records are kept up to date. Document any incidents, services provided, or accidents as required. Support the Hotel Services Manager with quality assurance and identifying opportunities for innovation. Work with peers to ensure fair workload distribution and service consistency. Participate actively in team meetings and other team-building activities.Service Delivery:
Respond to enquiries promptly and efficiently. Support accurate processing of pays and improve customer service delivery methods.Training and Development:
Participate in ongoing training and skill development.
