We are working continually to evolve and improve the wellbeing and safety of everyone who works and receives care within the very large and complex health care workplace that is NMHS, towards our Vision of being a transformative leader, shaping the future of healthcare: Vision.We have an immediate vacancy for one (1) Permanent Full-Time appointment, and one (1) Fixed Term Full-Time appointment, with the possibility of extension(s) and permanency.What is our Category Specialist role?As a Category Specialist, you will manage the end-to-end procurement and contract management processes within your contract portfolio to elicit best value for money for NMHS and the WA health system by:developing strong working relationships with the stakeholders in your portfolio;establishing and maintaining a compliant portfolio of contracts under management, including maximising commercial opportunities;identifying and acting upon new procurement opportunities within your portfolio to generate clinical and commercial outcomes.You will be a highly capable, values-driven and innovative individual whose actions, interactions and partnerships contribute to high quality patient care.
