You'll draw on your expertise in commercial negotiations, vendor relationship management, and category strategy development to lead and optimize procurement processes, ensuring alignment with business objectives and delivering measurable outcomes for the organisation.You'll make impact by:Proactively engaging with all business stakeholders to understand the current vendor performance and future requirements enabling you to plan and lead the procurement activities.Establishing yourself as a business partner to ensure business needs are met including outcomes, value, performance, risk, ESG, etc.Supporting and managing the resolution of escalations to ensure the TPG outcomes are preserved.Managing the portfolio of IT categories and vendors and their engagement across the IT Technology organisation working closely with the relevant business owners to deliver optimal value to TPG.Identifying and manage the delivery of savings and cost reduction initiatives without compromising business objectives or quality or service/scope.Leading commercial negotiations with vendors to ensure optimum outcomes whilst ensuring that our dealings with vendors meet the highest professional and ethical standards.Managing and leading RFx processes.Understanding and developing category strategies that will support the delivery of the TPG business strategies.Owning of a portfolio of vendors ensuring contracts are in place and managed.Completing regular reviews of supplier arrangements to ensure the fulfilment of all contractual obligations, the delivery of business value and the resolution of any disputes or non-compliance.Providing commercial advice to business stakeholders in relation to managing vendors and their contractual agreements.Taking responsibility for maintaining a consolidated vendor base, leveraging scale and value and managing non-performing or redundant vendors.Reviewing and approving requirements and requisitions across your vendor base to ensure orders adhere to supplier agreements.Working collaboratively with all TPG key stakeholders across all key functions.Supporting initiatives related to procurement transformation processes and systems improvement.What you'll bring:Commercial Degree qualified or equivalent desirable.Demonstrated ability to engage and work with key business stakeholders.Experience negotiating and managing complex supplier contracts.Experience managing and leading RFx processes.Full understanding of the vendor lifecycle with strong knowledge of partnering arrangements.Exposure and/or experience within a purchasing/procurement environment with a sound understanding of procurement policies and procedures.Solutions focused with strong commercial acumen/analytical skills.What's in it for you?Flexible hybrid way of working (from home and office)'Stay Connected Mobile' – Access to a free mobile plan'Stay Connected NBN' – Access to a free NBN 100 plan'Your Leave' - an additional 4 days of leave to be used whenever you like - every yearAccess to TPG Learning Hub platform and internal development opportunitiesAccess to Corporate Partner DiscountsCome join us and build a better future.
