Job Description SKU Setup : o Inputting new Stock Keeping Units (SKUs) into the inventory management system.
o Ensuring that all relevant product information (such as descriptions, specifications, and images) is accurately recorded.
Supplier Setup : o Collecting and verifying supplier information needed for new products.
o Maintaining accurate records of supplier contracts, terms, and contact details.
Data Maintenance : o Regularly updating and maintaining product data attributes, including dimensions, weights, and classification codes.
Pricing Management : o Monitoring and updating pricing information based on market trends, promotions, and supplier pricing changes.
o Implementing and tracking price changes across different sales channels.
Promotion Management : o Coordinating promotional activities, including setting up promotional SKUs and associated pricing.
o Maintaining records of past promotions for future reference and analysis.
Cross-Functional Collaboration : o Working with various teams, such as marketing, merchandising, and finance, to ensure that all data is accurate and aligns with company strategies.
o Communicating with suppliers regarding changes to SKUs or pricing.
Reporting and Analysis : o Generating reports on SKU performance, inventory levels, and pricing effectiveness to inform decision-making.
o Analysing data to identify trends and make recommendations for future actions.
The Successful Applicant A successful Category Co-ordinator should have: Administrative, logistics or customer service background duties in a Retail or Supplier business Preferable experience in a Category Team Experience working to deadlines and a critical path Experience checking accuracy of product attributes Working externally with suppliers or customers to ensure we are getting required information on-time Intermediate Microsoft application efficiency (Outlook, Word and Excel) What's on Offer A competitive daily rate $500 A temporary position with opportunities for professional growth and development within the retail sector.
