What's the opportunity?
Subaru Australia is seeking a talented Category Business Development Manager to shape the future of our Service and Repairs categories.
This role offers the unique opportunity to define growth opportunities, maximize revenue, and ensure exceptional customer experiences across our network.
Your duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Category Management: Identify opportunities, manage inventory, and develop marketing campaigns to drive sales within Subaru's Retail/Wholesale Network.
Conduct regular market analysis and collaborate with suppliers to introduce new products.
Inventory Management: Direct category inventory needs, analyze sales trends, and implement strategies to meet revenue and profitability targets.
Work closely with sales teams and develop relationships with vendors for optimal contract agreements.
Supplier Relationships: Support the Parts Operations Manager in managing supplier relationships and identify new commercial opportunities.
Customer & Dealer Engagement: Collaborate with the dealer network and trade customers to promote Subaru parts, while fulfilling the objectives of the National Aftersales Business Plan.
About you: Essential: 3 to 5 years of experience in a customer-focused role.
Desirable: Experience within an OEM or retailer and 3 to 5 years of experience in automotive parts & service.
Must be resilient.
Must have the ability to build strong and lasting relationships.
Skills: Strong planning and execution skills, excellent communication, ability to work autonomously, and confidence in managing multiple stakeholders.
