The Opportunity Ready to be a part of a great team? Working with the Category Management team, the Category Assistant is responsible for supporting the category function to deliver key outcomes to Ventura Health and our network. The Category team is integral in delivering Value to all our stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities include: Support the Category Management Team in a professional and timely manner to deliver against the overall category strategy.Build strong business relationships with our Supplier, Franchise Partners, and the Support Office team to help maximise sales and profitability for our business.Use initiative to control, manage and improve the quality and efficiency of work in the category team.Ensure the efficient flow and accuracy of correspondence and information, both incoming and outgoing, with external and internal parties, on behalf of the Category Management Team.Be a constructive member of the Merchandising Department.We are looking for: Preferred experience within Buying, Merchandise or Sales Support.Skills:Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerBI, Word, Teams, Powerpoint).Demonstrated analytical, problem solving and planning skills.High quality business acumen and strong communication skills to be able to represent the group professionally both internally and externally.Self-motivator with an ability to prioritise and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.An understanding of healthcare or FMCG desired.To be successful in this role, a strong sense of teamwork, integrity, initiative, and high work standards are required.This is a unique opportunity to work in a company where you are valued, given the recognition you deserve and suitably rewarded for your hard work.
