Operated by Healthscope, Northern Beaches Hospital (NBH) is located in Frenchs Forest, only 13kms north of Sydney CBD.
The hospital is a contemporary 488 bed facility comprising of 60% public and 40% private beds.
Providing a wide range of health services to the local community, including Surgery, a 50 bed Emergency Department, Intensive Care, Birthing, Paediatrics, Cardiac, Mental Health, Dialysis, Cancer Centre and Outpatients.
NBH has 13 operating theatres, one hybrid/cardiac catheter theatre, two Catheter Laboratories and four endoscopy procedure rooms, all supported by a critical care unit which includes two intensive care wards.
Northern Beaches Hospital is a dedicated facility for all patients in the local area.

Our Outpatients department is looking for a ward clerk to provide outstanding customer care to patients and their families.

Outpatients Department at Northern Beaches Hospital is looking for a friendly experienced staff member for a casual position.
As a Ward Clerk your responsibilities will include:
Providing patient-centred customer service including:Greet all customersHandle enquiries with a friendly and professional mannerMaintain accurate and timely patient information data collection and processing of medical recordsLiaise with medical staffLiaison with other areas of the hospitalManagement of patient electronic records ensuring the privacy and confidentiality of patient informationExperience in an acute patient focused healthcare facility/hospitalHighly developed interpersonal and time management skills with the ability to work in multidisciplinary work environmentsGood computer literacy & sound knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel)A track record of providing great service and customer experienceStrong interpersonal communication and report writing skillsAbility to work autonomously as well as in a team environmentBenefits on offer:
