Position overview The ANU School of Engineering is seeking casual sessional academics (tutors) for Semester 1 2025.
Individuals with experience and expertise in the field of Engineering who are interested in teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses are encouraged to apply.
As a casual sessional academic you will be involved in the delivery of CECC courses with support, guidance and direction from the Course Convenor and School staff.
You will work both independently and as part of a team to inspire active and evidence-based learning in our courses as well as motivate students to achieve their best and help them meet the stated learning outcomes.
A Tutor shall have qualifications and/or experiences recognised by the institution as appropriate for the relevant discipline area.
If you have the ability to engage, educate and enjoy working as part of a team, we would like to hear from you.
Tutoring qualifications are highly regarded.
If you have not already completed specific tutor training run by CECC, you may have the opportunity to participate in this professional development during the semester with both online and offline delivery arrangements.

Preparation for teaching in Semester 1 commences generally in or prior to O-week, depending on individual course arrangements.

Interview availability between 4th November – 15th November 2024.
If you are successful for interview, you will be contacted regarding an interview time during any of the above dates (please note during this time interviews with be conducted via Zoom) If you have previously interviewed for this position or have tutored, you may not be asked to attend another interview.
