About the roleWe are currently seeking positions for Casual Rail Welders for Rail Operations in Sydney NSW.
This role offers great career prospects with a privately-owned tier 1 constructor and international engineering enterprise.Key responsibilitiesRail-specific duties may include but are not limited to: Ensuring welding duties meets required standardsDetermining the method and sequence of welding operationsPreparing rail to repair and maintain rail tracksComplete required documentation such as welding and adjustment returns About you Ability to work unsupervised and within a team.Demonstrate experience working in the rail construction industry.Current Thermit Welding Certificate, or equivalent.Certificate 2 in Rail Infrastructure.Hold a valid Construction Induction (White Card) & Rail Industry Worker (RIW) Card.Valid Drivers Licence Class 'C' or 'HR'.Ability to pass a CAT3 medical, comprehensive functional and Drug & Alcohol Screening.Hold a current Sydney Trains CON number.
