Expressions of interest are currently being sought for casual on call/casual pool Transmission and or Distribution line workers to join our team carrying out patrol, inspection, and maintenance activities of network assets as part of an airborne crew.
Crews tour on a 19 day on, 9 days off roster pattern with two days off per tour, however your availability will also be considered.
Work is Primarily based in W.A however on occasions there may be a requirement to support our crews in QLD & Tas.
The minimum (must have) requirements for these positions are: Cert III ESI (Transmission or Distribution networks)Electrical Licence (transmission or Distribution) or the ability to obtain oneLive Line Barehand qualified (For Transmission)Live line Hotstick qualified (For Transmission)A strong safety record.Good communication skillsIntermediate level (or better) computer skillsAbility to work in a team environment and provide guidance and instruction to others.Calm in all situations and understands the challenges in change and growthDesirable: Aerial experience preferred but is not necessary - training and development will be provided.Recipient in charge and Switching experienceHR LicenceCurrent Cert IV TAE (desirable)Reside close to a major airportYou will be required to complete a pre-employment medical Including a pre-employment Alcohol & Other Drugs test, and audiometric test.
