Casual Paralegal

Details of the offer

We are seeking a Paralegal to join our team.

This position is ideal for someone wanting flexibility, but a minimum of two full days per week is required.

You will be working in our firm's busy legal costing team.
The role involves reviewing legal files from all types of legal matters and converting those files into court documents and advice for clients.
You will gain an understanding of various areas of law, particularly legal costs.

We are looking for someone who can demonstrate:
The ability to focus and work efficiently.
A high level of attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
A professional and corporate presentation.
The ability to work as a team player in a busy environment.
Experience working with the MS Office suite.
Your main duties will include:
Reviewing legal files.
Converting data in legal files into court documents and other documents such as letters of advice.
General administration and office duties.
Assisting lawyers with ad hoc tasks as required, including preparing legal documents and letters.
