SA Health Job reference: 874242 Location: 5606 - PORT LINCOLN Job status: Casual Eligibility: Open to Everyone Eyre and Far North Local Health Network, Home Support, Port Lincoln and Lower Eyre Salary: WHA3 $29.11 - $29.41 per hour + 25% casual loading; WHA4 $29.70 - $30.01 per hour + 25% casual loading Casual positions available until 30 June 2025 Exciting Casual Opportunity: Community Support Worker Join our team as a Community Support Worker and make a meaningful impact in the lives of aged, frail, or disabled individuals who wish to remain living in their own home with some assistance. This casual position offers flexibility and the chance to provide essential services that enable our clients to maintain independence in their own homes.
Key Responsibilities: Deliver compassionate and respectful care to clients in their homes or residential care settings. Assist with personal hygiene, grooming, and mobility as required. Perform household duties including cleaning, laundry, minor gardening tasks and meal preparation. Provide safe and reliable transportation for appointments and outings. Engage clients in meaningful social interactions and activities to enhance their well-being. At the WHA4 level you will provide personal care and support to clients with complex care needs. About you Flexible, conscientious and empathetic and be able to work autonomously in the community. Proven ability to work well within a team environment. Sound interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to relate to people from different cultures, backgrounds and circumstances. Experience in dealing with aged, frail or disabled persons. Experience in the use of computer packages e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel. To be appointed to the WHA4 level you must have completed Certificate III or higher in Individual Support.
