An opportunity exists to join Casella Family Brands as part of the Grower Services team based in Yenda, NSW.
As a Grower Liaison Officer, you will work closely with Wine Grape Growers, Suppliers and Company Vineyards across the Riverina and surrounding regions to achieve the quality and varietal targets required for our brand portfolio. You will be involved in Forecasting and Scheduling Fruit, maintaining Spray Diaries, Plant Health records and so much more!
There will be a strong focus on time management and work efficiencies during the peak Vintage period.
Requirements:
Degree in Viticulture, Agricultural Science and/or Horticulture is desirable. Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise, multitask and meet deadlines Be able to work independently and as part of a small team Confident computer skills including Microsoft, Excel and Word Current Australian drivers licence Desirable:
Proven track record of industry experience in grower relations, technical operations, agricultural or horticulture management Experience in problem solving and logistics operations Demonstrated technical knowledge of viticulture or horticulture crops All selected applicants will be required to undertake a pre-employment medical which includes a physical assessment and a drug & alcohol test.
