IFS works with families who are experiencing complex issues such as family violence, mental health, problematic substance use, homelessness, intergenerational disadvantage and trauma, poverty and poor parenting role models About you We are looking for someone who can: Experience in family services, social work, youth work, early childhood services, or a related field.
Sound understanding of child development and the factors that can impede a child's healthy development.
Extensive experience in providing risk and needs assessment, intervention, and risk management.
Significant experience in working with and providing active and assertive engagement in casework with families, particularly for those with complex needs and those who are reluctant to accept services.
