A little about the roleThe Case Worker you will work as part of an integrated team comprising of experienced Youth Workers, Therapists and Management making a positive and lasting difference to children and young people through the provision of an intensive, wrap around therapeutic living arrangement. You will, with the support of the Team Manager lead the team around the young person to implement therapeutic interventions. You will provide intensive trauma informed in home support maintaining a focus on cultural safety through focused, flexible support and quality care, using the Key Care Team framework.
You will lead in development of a positive team cultureDevelop relationships with key stakeholders and local community supports as requiredIn consultation with the Key Care Team, contribute to the assessment of need, and the development of individual therapeutic and goal plans for young peopleProvide 1:1 supervision and coaching with Youth WorkersAs a Case Worker you will participate in the recruitment process of staffThe base salary for this position is $85,120.36 - $91,586.56 /annum (based on 1.0FTE) + super + mobile phone + salary packaging options up to $15,900 per annum. Company vehicle/allowance plus fuel card is provided. This position is a permanent full time position.
About youIdeally you will have;
Training and Qualifications in Youth Work/Social work or Community Services2 years experience of working directly with children/young people in the care systemThe ability to demonstrate experience working with children/young people with challenging behaviour in a trauma informed wayIt is desirable that you have experience in leadership or supervisory rolesMy Key AssetsThe health and wellbeing of our people is at the core of our employee and client experience.
