Working at the Clarence Correctional Centre, you will lead a dedicated team committed to supporting inmates and ensuring the safety of the community.
You'll make a positive impact by: Leading and mentoring a team of Case Planning Officers Ensuring high-quality case plans, classification, and placement of inmates Managing the timely and effective implementation of case management processes Overseeing the allocation of caseloads and assessments Contributing to continuous improvement of case management systems Ensuring a safe and respectful environment for staff, inmates, and visitors Serco is a place for you To be successful in this role you'll have: A relevant tertiary qualification in Criminology, Social Work, or Social Sciences or relevant industry experience in a similar role Certificate IV in Correctional Practice (or willingness to complete within 12 months) Experience leading a team Strong understanding of classification, placement, and risk management Ability to build inclusive, collaborative teams and manage performance Experience working with Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander people (desirable) Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Serco's services span Justice, Immigration, Defence, Space, Health, and Urban Mobility.
