As a Case Manager at QBE, you will assist injured workers with their injury management and return to work plans whilst maintaining relationships built on trust with all stakeholders involved.
Our Case Managers work collaboratively to grow and achieve not only for their injured workers, but for themselves.

The key activities of our Case Managers include:
Effectively set expectations, communicate and educate injured workers and their employers
Work in partnership with the injured worker and their employer to manage their journey in returning to work
Ensure timeframes and compliance measures are adhered to in line with legislation and company policy
Document and apply decision-making principles
Meet and work in partnership with internal and external stakeholders to achieve best practice outcomes
We're all about setting you up for success
Your first four weeks are focused on establishing a solid foundation for success - our Q-Start program is delivered hybrid, 3 days in office, and will set you up with all the knowledge to begin your career in workers compensation.
From there you'll work through on the job, buddy led training in line with iCare's Professional Standards Framework.
About you
You genuinely care about the work you do, delivering an informed, customer-centric service with empathy and patience.
To be successful in this role, you will also bring:
Experience in a case management, workers compensation and/or allied health environment or similar
Experience working under relevant policies and procedures, which may include legislation.
A high degree of influencing skills, partnered with strong written and verbal communication skills
A resilient approach to your work, maintaining a positive and optimistic response to all challenges
A collaborative, person-centred approach to your work
