As a Case Manager, you are responsible for all aspects of the safety, well-being, and positive, permanent outcomes for young people.
You will bring empathy, organisational skills, and attuned relationship skills to work to ensure children and young people survive, heal, and thrive.
You will draw on your experience, training, and knowledge of the child and family sector and your cultural competence to work alongside Aboriginal families, agencies, and communities.
High-level communication and reflective practice are a must.
What's needed? Tertiary qualifications (Diploma or Degree) in community services, social work, psychology, education, or other qualifications and experience relevant to the roleTheoretical understanding and practice skills related to the needs of vulnerable children, young people, and their families, including working in a trauma-informed wayAn understanding of case management principles and procedures, including Aboriginal placement principles, to work in collaboration with children, young people, their families, and their Care Team to continually assess, develop, implement, monitor, and review the planning for the child or young personGreat self-initiative, organisational, and time management skillsTo find out more, please contact Dianne Lewis at (during business hours).
