Your role: A rounded approach engaging schools, families and carers in support and case management.Have a passion for working with children and young people impacted by trauma who reside in out of home careHave creative thinking and problem-solving skills to engage those who might be resistant to supportsCommitted to achieving positive outcomes for carers, young people and their familiesWork collaboratively with their team and team leaderContinuously liaise with DFFH Child ProtectionThe skills we want you to use day to day: The agility and skill to engage with complex individualsUsing creative thinking and skill to engage carers, families and childrenA good knowledge of and a trauma informed approachStrong administrative skills and ability to meet timelinesSophisticated understanding of the legislative, policy and practice environment of Out of Home Care and a passion for learning.Strong engagement, communication, advocacy and conflict resolution skillsStrong written communication Strong networking and stakeholder engagement to promote the Best Interests of childrenDemonstrated experience in case management.What you need to know: A salary at SCHCADS level 5 which equates to around $94,000 plus super (soon to increase)Part time hours. 4 days per week. Fixed term to June 27th 2025.
