About the RoleAs the Case Management Lead, you will oversee the end-to-end process for wage inquiries and claims, providing comprehensive support and oversight to senior leaders.
You'll manage all wage-related inquiries received by or escalated to the University, conduct thorough investigations into complex historical employment practices, and work towards satisfactory resolutions for claims from current and former employees.This role involves close collaboration with key stakeholders, including the HR Services, Workplace Relations, and Compliance teams.
You'll also have the opportunity to assess and recommend improvements to wage inquiry and claims processes and procedures, working in consultation with relevant stakeholders to drive enhanced effectiveness.Your responsibilities will include: Lead the University's wage enquiry and claims process through effective case management, in collaboration with key stakeholders in Workplace Relations and HR Services, with the appropriate level of confidentiality Lead process for new enquires and claims, effectively triaging cases from a variety of inputs, determining high level requirements for assessment to ensure effective prioritisation and management of resources Lead the execution of timely investigations, ensuring relevant policies and standard operating procedures are followed and appropriate consultation with stakeholders undertaken inform outcomes for current and former employees Maintain a strong knowledge and understanding of current University Policy and Procedures, and reliably follow these or provide compliant advice to others to progress the resolution of complex claims Who we are looking forWe're looking for a Case Management Lead with strong communication skills and the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders.
You'll use your knowledge of university best practices and policies to influence others effectively.A background in compliance or a diverse range of experiences is welcome, but strong data analysis skills and advanced Excel proficiency are essential.
You should be able to interpret data accurately and tailor insights for different stakeholders.You will also have: Well demonstrated ability to manage, analyse, interpret, and present dataHighly demonstrated ability to solve complex problems requiring significant analysis within a broad set of legal requirements, enterprise agreements, employment agreements and University policiesStrong leadership experience with ability to mentor and manage a small teamExcellent written communication and influencing skills to craft impactful outcomes for senior leaders Highly demonstrated experience with the development, delivery and evaluation of processes and procedures For further information regarding responsibilities and requirements please refer to the attached PD.
