Looking for a new opportunity or the next "Step" in your career?STAIRLOCK is a family owned and operated business and over the last 60 years has grown to become one of Australia's largest staircase companies.We supply and install exceptional quality staircases and balustrade systems for residential building projects across Australia.Our modern head office and purpose-built manufacturing plant are based at Lionsgate Business Park in South Australia, with operational support offices located in Sydney and Melbourne.With a range of career opportunities and pathways throughout our business you can be confident in stepping into a career with STAIRLOCK.We pride ourselves in supporting our people on their career journeys and offer continuous training and development, to support each employee achieve their career goals.This is just one reason why we can celebrate having employees and subcontractors who have been part of our team for over 10, 20, and even 40 years!About the Role Due to continued growth and success, we have multiple opportunities for qualified carpenters or joiners to join our installation teams, based in Sydney.This role offers great work-life balance and regular ongoing hours, as either a permanent salary position or sub-contracting opportunities.Our scheduling team liaise with customers and stakeholders to schedule all installations and arrange for our staircases to be delivered directly to site, ready for installation.This means our installers are solely focussed on the actual installation with a key focus on quality and safety.Inatalls are scheduled to maximise efficientcy, therefore travel is minimsed as much as possible.Experience in staircase building or installation is preferred, but not essential as on the job trinaing is provided.Key Responsibilities: Install a variety of staircases according to specifications and blueprints.Ensure installations are completed accurately and efficiently.Inspect and prepare installation sites before starting the work.Collaborate with the operations team to resolve any issues that arise during installation.Maintain a clean and safe work environment.About You To be successful in the role you will have: previous experience in joinery or carpentry previous experience in staircases preferred but not essential.a qualification in carpentry, cabinet making, joinery or equivalent a valid driver's license and suitable vehicle valid white card tools of the trade.relevant insurance and certifications including public liability insurance and contractors/builders licence (essential for sub-contractors) As a Stairlock Installer you'll enjoy: Attractive subcontracting rates (paid fortnightly), or competative salary (paid weekly) Regular work (full-time hours available) On the job training provided Freidnly and supportive team.How to Apply: Click apply to submit your resume and cover letter or for further details please contact Jonathan Collins on 0412 995 016.
