We have an exciting opportunity for a Carpenter to join us as part of our Construction Team.
This role will (but is not limited to):
Building and Standing of Modular Home Flooring and FramesInstallation of fibre cement claddingInstallation of sarking and braceboardInterpretation of construction plansSupervise apprentices and assist with on-the-job trainingUnderstand and apply quality control techniques to works and materialsProvide support for our onsite construction team installing cladding and building surrounds, decks, landings, ramps, steps, carports, and garages attached to modular homes onsite as necessaryYou will have: Ability to work effectively autonomously and as part of a high-performing teamExcellent communication skills and able to maintain strong working relationshipsAbility to identify and problem solve issues in a timely mannerExperience in diverse use of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and constructionAbility to read technical documents and drawingsWillingness to follow workplace health and safety guidelines at all timesAn eye for detail and the ability to work at a low margin of errorThe successful candidate will: Possess a current OHS White CardPossess a current Working at Heights qualificationBe a permanent resident of AustraliaTrade qualified with relevant practical experienceNSW unrestricted driver's license with satisfactory driving recordHunter Valley Modular Homes have an excellent reputation for operating with respect and integrity as well as valuing the contribution of our team members that ensures the ongoing success of our business.
