Carpenter

LGCP Group Pty Ltd requires a carpenter who has skills in all forms of carpentry.
We are an expanding business that focuses mainly on bathrooms and small extensions.
We have a great reputation in the industry, and are looking to add a new member to the team.
Quality work is paramount.
Our work is located in Melbourne and the surrounding suburbs.
This position is for a full-time employee, Monday to Friday.
To be successful in this role you must:
Have skills in all forms of carpentryHave completed an AQF Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training, or AQF Certificate IV (ANZSCO Skill Level 3)Be punctual, and have great communication and personal skillsHave a driver's licence, own vehicle and toolsBe able to work independently and with a team Duties include:
Constructing and installing timber frameworks for residential extensions, ensuring stuctural integrity and compliance with plansMeasuring, cutting and assembling materials such as timber and plywood to match design specificationsModifying and updating existing structures, ensuring that new additions blend seamlessly with the original buildInstalling new doors, windows and other fixtures as part of renovation projectsPerforming maintenance and repairs on older structures, including the replacement of damaged componentsCollaborating with other tradespeople such as electricians and plumbers, to ensure smooth workflow during renovation and extension processesEnsuring compliance with local building codes and safety standards throughout each project Salary is negotiable dependent upon skills and experience
