Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Carpenter to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have experience in various carpentry tasks, including framing, finishing, and installation.
This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities: Measure, cut, and shape wood and other materials according to specifications.Construct and install frameworks for buildings, including walls, roofs, and floors.Install doors, windows, cabinets, and countertops with precision.Apply finishes, such as paints and stains, and install trim and moldings.Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.Perform repairs and maintenance on structures and fixtures as needed.Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure project efficiency.Maintain a clean and organized work area.Assess project requirements and determine necessary materials and tools.Ensure work meets quality and safety standards.Provide guidance and mentorship to junior carpenters and apprentices.Track project progress and report any issues or delays to management.Assist in estimating project costs and timelines.Qualifications: Proven experience as a carpenter or similar role.Certificate III in Carpentry or relevant qualification.Proficient in using various hand and power tools.Strong understanding of carpentry techniques and materials.Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Good physical condition and stamina for manual labour.Remuneration: $73,150
