We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Estate Planning Paralegal to join our dynamic team on a full-time basis.
This position offers an exciting opportunity for someone with some experience in will drafting and probate to advance their knowledge and skills within the field of estate planning.
This is a full-time position, with a hybrid work arrangement, starting 3 February 2025.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in drafting wills, trusts, and other estate planning documents.
- Support probate, estate administration, including filing documents and communicating with clients and courts.
- Conduct legal research related to estate planning and trusts.
- Maintain and organise client files, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Provide general administrative support to solicitors and the estate planning team, including scheduling and document management.
- Liaise with clients, trustees, and financial institutions regarding their estate matters.
Ideal Candidate:
- Some prior experience in estate planning, will drafting, and probate is preferred.
- Strong desire to deepen knowledge in estate planning law and broaden professional skills.
- Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), but proficiency is not required at the outset.
- Experience with Smokeball software is a plus, but not required—we provide training.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently, demonstrate attention to detail, and handle confidential information with discretion.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
