The role: Carry out assessments, treatments and provide clinical care to individuals referred to the team in collaboration with other team members. This will include the application of a wide range of skills and interventions.Act as a medical and psychiatric resource for other team members.Seek appropriate clinical support and supervision from senior colleagues, the Director or Delegate.Promote and maintain close links with colleagues and service providers to ensure continuity of patient care. Liaise with other community service providers, especially GPs.Participate in medical student teaching and in-service training of staff.Details of Appointment: Permanent full time, day worker (with on-call) position working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible. *Notwithstanding hours may be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Base Salary: $125,000- $200,000 per annum. Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria: General or limited registration with the Medical Board of Australia. *Registration/licences that are essential requirements of this role must remain current and valid at all times whilst employed in this role and the status of these may be checked at any time during employment.Desirable Criteria: Current Driver's LicenceThe Head of the State Service has determined that the person nominated for this job is to satisfy a pre-employment check before taking up the appointment.
